Located in Dunedin New Zealand, this ridiculously steep street is only 1140 feet long but will definitely cause your thighs to burn if you try to walk up it. You better have really good brakes on your car too.

Sorry guys, but No. 5 is a picture of Kamienne Schodki St (literally "Stone Stairs") in Warsaw, Poland...

Agreed, there are no stairs on Baldwin street...
btw, the last time I walked up it, a dude ran past me three times... said it was part of his daily exercise!

I doubt it is the steepest. There are streets that steep in Cape Town, South Africa. One of those is Longmarket Street, which is also concrete it is upper reaches, because tar would flow down-hill!
