People who live in Japan can easily get rid of their old electronics and household appliances, whether they are working or not. Local companies pick dead technology and take it to dumps helping residents to quickly solve the recycling problem. Discarded TVs, printers, washing machines and other products are not resold to the population. They are sent to China for further disposing and component parts.

China then dumps this crap into shanty towns where its burnt and melted for its metals. Most of the metals however end up in the water and as air pollution.
