Been there. Absolutely amazing to be in a 450 year old building knowing that who knows how many million people had been standing exactly where you are standing. It was cold and icy the day I went. The brick floor felt strange beneath my feet. I realized that so many millions had been walking on it, the brick had worn down while the mortar had not.
