These candies are clearly counterfeit - look at the first image, some of them look like they've been opened before. My guess, someone ate and replaced them with crappy crap...

They do like those in China. But do not send any over there they will confiscate them. They say chocolate should not come into contact with skin.

Though I have never heard of such a thing happening through a box that is sealed and should only be opened by the recipient.
