This is sorcery! Ok, it’s just an illusion, but it’s awesome.
 

The author of the video demonstrates here the stroboscopic effect by filming water flowing from a hose taped to a music speaker.

The water goes near a speaker which plays some repetitive sound so the drops follow the same pattern, with the camera capped at the right framerate.
