Rather than pay some former spouse millions of dollars, it would be far cheaper and definitely 'final' to spend a few thousand dollars and have them professionally killed. You might even be able to make some money if you have a large insurance policy on them and the hit is made to look like an accident.

Have I been watching too many gangster movies?

How about Paul McCartney? For the money he paid Linda he could have had a high class prostitute hired 24 hours a day to do whatever he wanted and still have some money left.
I hate gold diggers.

It is really tough to find a high class one-legged prostitute. I know, I've tried...:(

Probably a good Idea for a celerity not to marry.
These amounts are crazy and in no way a real reflection of a cost of living

A lot of women are only after what they can get. These are the same greedy sots who want equal rights. So, get off your lazy fannies and get a job!

If I was a guy, I'd be either celibate or queer.

Greed has been around for decades - wrecking marriage! Anyways, these are huge figures, really! I guess it has something to do with Mel Gibson's behavior for the past years he's been acting wild. Just want to share this by the way, a Fraud Conference at Rutgers this month which will tackle on divorce, forensic and marriage accounting etc. More details on this blog http://uandacpas.com/blog/2012/05/jeff-urbach-speaking-fraud-conference/.
