A landlord and a tenant had an argument; that was the result of it.
A jobless British tenant who had his rent paid by the Department of Social Security went insane after he had quarrel with his landlord about the electricity meter. The man destroyed the cushions, ripped the paper off the walls and littered the house with rubbish, dirty dishes and drug paraphernalia. He kicked down the doors, upturned the fridge and let stray dogs in to chew the curtains and the furniture. He also left several racist writings on the walls. The estimated cost of the damage is about $18,500.
