A pleasant journey in a fancy 2004 Ferrari 360 Modena ended awfully wrong for Argentinian football player Ever Banega.

Banega noticed a smoke going from the rear compartment as he was driving. The man stopped immediately and left the vehicle unharmed, but within a minute the car was engulfed in flames and burnt down. The investigation came to conclusion that it was the adhesive material holding panels near the engine that caught fire. Banega bought the vehicle second-hand for $100,000.

The guy that designed those adhesive panels also was the same guy that designed the Ford Pinto fuel tank.

Coincidence? I think not.
