How to Open a Door with a Credit Card (4 PICS)

Posted in PICTURES       30 Aug 2012       272140       12 GALLERY VIEW

A good old movie trick explained in pictures. It’s easy as getting assignment help from Domyhomework123.com.

Choose your largest, most easily flexible credit card.

Slide the card into the vertical crack between the door and the frame (where the lock is). Insert the card as far as it will go at a perpendicular angle with the door.

Tilt the card so the side that's closest to you is almost or is touching the doorknob. Push it until you feel it slide in more.

Bend the card the opposite way, forcing the lock to go back. Quickly open the door. It is a good idea to lean against the door while doing this, which will help it to pop open.

...and if the credit card trick doesn't work, get a paperclip, hairpin or just a piece of thin wire and pick that lock. It shouldn't take you more than 15 seconds even if you've never done it before because that's how they do it in the movies, right?

Any door lock made since the 70's is designed not to allow this.

This does work on any doorknob lock. Which is why you want a deadbolt.

You'd be surprised how many doors this will work on... even the ones made to stop it with that lil piece of metal... Most people install them wrong.... just sayin..

Just make sure if it breaks off, you haven't just left your name on a piece of plastic in someone else's door. Could be awkward.
