Adam Cudworth, a student from the UK, snapped these photographs with a cheap camera placed on a helium balloon. Adam put the camera, a GPS module, a radio transmitter and a small microprocessor into a weather-sealed box and managed to launch this DIY spacecraft more than 30 km up into the sky – into the earth's stratosphere.
