The annual “Queen Charlotte’s Ball”, held in London, is a long standing tradition and has been running since it first started in 1780. This lavish event is a chance for “rich girls” between the ages of 17 and 20 to be paraded to their parents’ choice of suitable bachelors who are most often bankers, business leaders and the like.
