Bride "Kills" Groom’s Virtual Girlfriend on Their Wedding Day (12 pics)

It is very strange to see table seats reserved for the Nintendo DS hand-held video game console. However, guests to a recent Japanese wedding witnessed exactly this when the groom chose to invite his video game girlfriend, Nene (and her friends) to his actual wedding! The game is called “Love Plus” and this open-ended dating simulator is extremely popular in Japan. 

However, although it seemed that the bride to be was happy with this arrangement, she actually planned to destroy the game on the day. Instead of cutting the cake as per usual, she removed the memory card of the Nintendo console and crushed the console with a wooden hammer, thereby ending this odd relationship between the groom and his “Nene”.

Early, Nene had one more guy who adore her and she even gets her own birthday party!
