They say money can't buy you happiness, but it did buy Datta Phuge a gold shirt that has given him lots of attention.
Datta Phuge is a 32-year-old man who became rich from his pawnbroking business in Pimpri-Chinchwad, Maharashtra, also where the shirt was made. It cost him about $ 22,500 (£ 14,000 ) to get his shirt and all the attention that has followed.
It took a team of 15 goldsmiths two weeks while working for 16 hours a day to complete the shirt and its matching cuffs. Datta Phuge the now proud owner of the shirt says it's been a dream he's had for a very long time.
He has admitted in his own words "I know I am not the best looking man in the world but surely no woman could fail to be dazzled by this shirt." He also claims it will add to his reputation as the "Gold man of Pimpri" where this story originates from.
