The David Tower stands in Caracas, Venezuela and is the country’s third tallest building. However, construction on the skyscraper was halted in 1994 as a result of the Venezuelan banking crisis and the structure was left only half finished. Today it is home to 2500 squatters who have equipped the building with sanitation, electricity and security.

They live in tents but have satellite dishes. Am I the only one that thinks their priorities are out of whack?

That is in Caracas, Venezuela. Poor minded people are like that, they don't mind if their house is shit, but they have a big TV, a great stereo, satellite TV, a crappy car with a blasting car audio system that is worth more than the car itself, but nothing good to eat... That's third world, it's really on the minds of the people
