24 year old Sophie Yates was always self-conscious of her looks.
Suffering from an extreme underbite, she was often bullied as a child and found it awkward to close her mouth.
When she turned 18 years old, she elected to have four of her teeth removed and her jaw broken in a correction procedure called orthognathic surgery, which cost between $6181 and $7726 (£4,000 and £5,000). Here are photo results of her amazing transformation.
