These renderings by Dr Alan Kwan show how the human face could look in 20,000, 60,000 and 100,000 years' time.

In 20,000 years

In 60,000 years

So we're all going to look like we've taken LSD. Some people are there already.

Complete Bullsh!t. God Created man, evolution is a huge lie.
Dr Alex Kwan is A whack quack & has a brainwashed evolution (Darwinian) indoctrinated mind. Pictures are all crap, pure crap. Besides, even if evolution was true then we already had the superb vision of the eagle or hawk so why did we lose it and now need glasses to see. The earth is maybe 10-15,000 years old max. Praise Jesus.

correction
evolution: theory based on science. Evolution is not a fact, but our best understanding of the present facts.

God: no fairies. That's a pagan mythology, not theistic.

The criterion for this assumption is missing from this post. He assumes that people will live in space and develop (through evolution or gene manipulation) bigger eyes to adjust to less light inside space stations etc. By giving ourselves a reflective retina, we don't need bigger eyes. Our brain has not change size for about a million years, but the internal functionality has developed and made us kings of the world. I don't think our brain will get much bigger than it is since it is already big enough to cause problems during birth.

@roger. Why are you forsaken all your ancestors, from the humble early single cell to the humble neolithic hunters? They fought hard so you could come to be, then you pay them by denying their existence... The theory of evolution is the most solid and well proven theory science has. It explains a lot and help us understand contemporary things like bacterial growth, cancer growth and survival, economics, etc. If early humans really needed awesome vision, we would have had it. Our primate relative are not known for having a falcon vision either. All creatures got abilities based on their lifestyle. That's the power of evolution. It's a slow process, so not all creatures are fully adjusted. No wonder since environments are changing all the time. 15000 years ago, my country was covered in ice. But in layers of sand that is not of glacial origin, being found under glacial deposits, people have found mammoth remains, pollen and plants from a warmer period. A period long before your bible was written. No mammoth remains have so far been found in post glacial deposits.

nice comments about the criterion, fenris! i take it that guy will not be attending your seminar, however!

re: the scientist's idea,
it's pie-in-the-sky IMO. the planet is rapidly on track to becoming something of another venus, and the chances of our species surviving that will be slim, at best. even if we did get in to space on a permanent basis, the toll of gamma waves and artificial gravity on the human body is fearsome, as are not to mention a million other deteriorating processes that occur when we're removed from our healthy home... the one that we're perfectly tuned to by natural processes.

yes, earth... our home which we modern humans are theoretically smart enough to take care of, and yet don't. we don't for another million reasons.

So basically, everyone will turn into BRATZ dolls.

Evolution is not always a good thing.

I was kinda hoping teeth would evolve away so that young women could give toothless blowjobs without dental surgery.

I think they are missing points there, like how male and woman frame are going to be the same, we might aswell end up taller and more or less with a lot less hairs on top.
just have to turn grey and job is done.
