In Japan, a tattooed person is regarded as a riffraff.

Tattoos are easily regarded as fashion nowadays, so I'm glad that you/your country is still able to uphold high regard for old cultural values which may well be the rationale behind your statement, eco26.

But I doubt that teenagers these days would understand that, so it's a bit sad.
