Looks magical. where did the colors come from, the led only sends 1 color..

Nope, it doesn't. This 'RGD Led' has three different embedded chips: Red, blue and green, the basic colors of every color there is.
All behind a 'diffuser'.
You can send different independent voltages to each chip and diffuse different intensities of those three colors to create any color.

And the different intensities you see here, are probably because of the variable thickness of the shell, or the bundle of light that has bounced off the shell, making it go different ways thus 'filtering' certain colors.

Red, blue and yellow are paint primary colours. Red, green and blue are light primary colours.
