It does not explain why it is called "football", when the "foot" part is not as obvious as the "ball" one.

One point for the "non-profit" and "tax-exempt" part, brilliant!

#8 yes, but the poem itself is about a raven, so it comes to the same thing.

#16 that sounds pretty absurd to me.

#18 who knows? that might be on the decrease, given how much bigger and stronger the players have gotten through the years... meaning greater potential for dain bramage.

If there are three defunct hockey teams that have used the name, "Texans", then the current Houston AFC team is the 5th team to use it. The Kansas City Chiefs entered the AFL as the Dallas Texans. They played in Dallas for the 1960 thru 1962 seasons and then moved to Kansas City after owner Lamar Hunt and Cowboys owner Clint Murcheson decided one of them had to move and flipped a coin. Hunt lost.
