Sorry, can't agree that these 'breeds' are "Perfect" at all. Crossing some of the worst breed defects with even lesser breeds is just asking for trouble. Especially the shorter legged variety.

Well, while it might be best to avoid some mixes, like rottweiler+amstaff+pitbull, I generally think of cross-breeding as good.

Many pure dogs suffers of inbreeding and a weak gene pool. By mixing races, you mix things up. The negative: They maybe don't look as good as pure races :P

At least this was the case with our dog, a mix. Lived to be almost 16, few to none health problems except at the end, very good with people.

Missed out poochon - mixture of poodle and bichon frise
My two are naughty, friendly, healthy and intelligent. No defects in these two.

I'm sure some of this site's articles are not on a theoretical basis. Obviously some of the result photos are purebred dogs, such as Dachshund and Aussie, and maybe more in the pictures. Darmatrogidal manifestations are not simple as the above photos. Most dog breeds have all those genes all before. Also, the theory of mixed breeds is healthier than pure ones is wrong in some way. Sometimes it works to maximize it. The Gene pool thing is not as simple as people think.
