Wind and solar power is transported through this 1,400 megawatts cable that connects the electricity markets between Germany and Norway. The aim is to help create a stable supply in both countries, which will also steady the prices. The North Sea cable project comprises an investment volume of approx. EUR 1.5 to 2.0 billion ($2-2.7 billion).
