Approximately 800 people stormed Whittier Park in Southern California in order to find money that had been randomly hidden in sweet packets. This is one of a few cash drops that Twitter account @HiddenCash is responsible for around the city but this one caused around $5000 worth of damage.

Hidden cash treasure hunts are in theory a great idea but honestly you can never underestimate what people will do for a few extra bucks.
