Ubari is a desert oasis located between the Messak Sattafat plateau and Idhan Ubari erg sand dunes and lakes, which is one of the hottest and driest locations in the world. It is magnificent!

The Sahara was once a sea anyway which is why people keep finding fossilised fish there.
