The underground home was designed to house a family for an entire year without requiring them to venture above ground.
The house shouldn't ever make you feel claustrophobic, despite being 26 feet below the ground. The 15,200-square-foot basement has lights that change depending on the time of day, and the airy overhead sky is blue with white clouds.
It was sold recently for $1 150 000.
