The Pont des Arts Bridge in Paris is a romantic landmark infamous for its hundreds of “love locks” that decorate the bridge rails. Officials are worried that the weight of these locks is putting too much strain on the bridge and have decided to forcibly remove them. What a sad day for all the lovebirds who left a lock behind.
