Extremist buddhist terrorists exist. Yeah right, buddhism is the reason and nothing else...
This is what is known as "critical thinking". If Bongfuhrer was making a point about people being dicks, then he wouldn't have mentioned people believing in "fairy tales", now, would he? He would have said that we need to educate people to stop trying to kill other people, and left the "fairy tales" out of his comment. He also wouldn't have mentioned being stuck at killing terrorists, with the implication that all terrorists are religious people.
If that was his point, then it was poorly written. But I don't think it was, especially given his little sign-off line that is at the bottom of his post. Again, this is known as "critical thinking". You have to look beyond what you think the interpretation is and find what the writer is actually trying to say.
