A couple from Cantley, Quebec were dialling 411 for information but accidentally called 911 instead.
Officers then responded to their address, because as we all know, if you call 911 then hang up, they’re gonna come. It’s the universal sign of “emergency, come help asap.”
And they found more than 700 marijuana plants in their basement, along with 600 grams in bulk marijuana. Needless to say the couple were arrested for possession following the incident.
Clearly this was at the worst time to dial a wrong number. But it did lead to the easiest drug bust in history, so we guess it’s a win.
