Tara Lambert, a 33-year-old former model from Ohio, is convicted of attempted murder and could be jailed for 11 years. She paid an undercover police officer a $125 down payment and suggested to dispose of the body by using a wood chipper. Later in the court she said that it was a joke.
It took the jury only 45 minutes for deliberations to find her guilty.
After Lambert was taken into custody, "the last thing she said before being led from the courtroom was asking what officials would do with her purse."
A psychologist told the jury that she also "suffers from eating disorders and has issues with her body image, leading to her more than two dozen cosmetic surgeries." As an example, the psychologist said that once "Lambert was told her sweater did not fit so she immediately went to her plastic surgeon for an operation." [Dailymail]
