Bobby Neel Adams came up with his "Age Map" series in 1989. There was no Photoshop back then so he had to be creative to make a composite image of two photos. His project’s goal is to show how a person’s face change with years. He takes a photo of a person when he/she was young and put it together with a current photo of this person. This is how he did it, "In the darkroom I sized up both images to the same proportions and made prints. Once these photographs were dry I tore the most recent portrait and laid it on top of the school photo, gluing it down the rubber cement."
