Fred McFeely Rogers was an American television personality, famous for creating, hosting, and composing the theme music for the educational preschool television series Mister Rogers' Neighborhood (1968–2001), which featured his kind-hearted, gentle, soft-spoken personality, and which nurtured several generations of children who knew they were loved and received by at least one man in the whole world.
