Also in the movie Pearl Harbor, it's 1941 and in the military restaurant, or whatever they call it - nobody is smoking; another thing, there were no slant deck aircraft carriers then - (too many more to mention) but this is the funniest; the captain of the aircraft carrier is calling for full speed ahead and when the camera pulls back, the anchor chain has deployed so the anchor is still on the seabed.
Apollo 13
This movie accurately depicted Ken Mattingly, played by Gary Sinise, coming down with the measles and being scrubbed from the flight. However, in real life, he was not involved with the rescue mission.
