Also in the movie Pearl Harbor, it's 1941 and in the military restaurant, or whatever they call it - nobody is smoking; another thing, there were no slant deck aircraft carriers then - (too many more to mention) but this is the funniest; the captain of the aircraft carrier is calling for full speed ahead and when the camera pulls back, the anchor chain has deployed so the anchor is still on the seabed.

In this movie, they said that British and New Zealand embassies didn’t help the staff of the American Embassy. In actuality, they both helped the Americans and passed them along to the Canadians. Arthur Wyatt from Britain was even awarded a medal for the risk he took to help them.
