Also in the movie Pearl Harbor, it's 1941 and in the military restaurant, or whatever they call it - nobody is smoking; another thing, there were no slant deck aircraft carriers then - (too many more to mention) but this is the funniest; the captain of the aircraft carrier is calling for full speed ahead and when the camera pulls back, the anchor chain has deployed so the anchor is still on the seabed.

While the opening battle in this movie sure looked spectacular, it wasn’t accurate at all. Roman Legions were trained to stay in formation during battle rather than break off. Had they broke off, they would have instantly lost. Also, Marcus Aurelius doesn’t actually die by the hand of his son Commodus.
