#4 - Never heard of fatal interactions with hogweed. I have heard rumours that kids have made flutes and whistles with the large hollow stems and ingested the sap, blistering their throats and dying from asphyxiation but this is what my parents told me to get me to stay away from it! I sincerely doubt you would be harmed by the sap entering your blood stream as the toxin is photo reactive.
