In Star Trek Beyond (2016), the USS Franklin’s dedication plate actually reads ‘USS FRANK LIN’, after the film’s director Justin Lin’s father, Frank.

 

Despite being released in 2006, Children of Men features a shot of The Shard, a building that wouldn’t be completed until 2012.
