I crashed into a ditch, ran home, and when the cops got to my house I told them I was completely wasted and speeding and missed the turn by a bit. they couldn't believe how truthful I was and let me off with reckless driving. when I got to court months later, they had written in the police report that I told them it was late and I must have fallen asleep at the wheel. ended up with a small fine and one year probation. didn't lose my license or anything...
