California’s Mojave Desert is where you can find “Wasteland”, a “Mad Max” inspired art festival that lasts for 5 days. This gathering requires all attendees to be in costume for the entire festival, which includes literally everyone, even staff members and any journalists. The idea behind these strict guidelines is to create a full-immersion effect into the crazy world of “Mad Max”.
