My contribution: student party in the 90s. I was talking to a nice and funny girl for about half an hour. We both laughed a lot. Then she asked me "what are you studying?" I said "Computer Science" . She turned around and never talked to me again.

Long distance relationship of 5 years. I was diagnosed with Cancer and he said he'd come to live with me and care for me. Before moving in with me, he said he was going to visit his buddy for a weekend. Turns out, he was going to his girlfriends daughters wedding. He'd already moved in with her. Later, told me they were just friends and he was still coming to live with me. He's still with her. I told she can have him. His family keeps in touch with me. He's still got other girls on the side. I'm still alive, in remission, and rid of the poison that coward brought into my life.

Classic here: Younger me had a girl i liked, we've been together for about 5 months. To me, all was good. Then she decided to study abroad for 6 months. Not cool for a relationship, but we decided to try. We skyped a lot, i sent her packages containing useful stuff, little presents, all that. I also created a small online-tool where we could leave notes and pictures for each other (pre-FB or Twitter era). 3 Month later, i had vacation and planned to visit her. We made the plans together, i booked the flight and all that - and it was the very first hug in the airport after arriving, when she said something like "Oh, this doesn't feel good anymore" and broke up with me.

Rest of the holidays were arranged by friends she made there, some really nice people. Was somehow an okay-ish trip, i learnt a lot. I've never seen her, since i left after a few days. Today, i can laugh about it, but back then it was really hard.
