Occasionally a truck will pull out of a loading dock while the forklift is still inside. The forklift always drives in forward, because it can't turn around inside the truck, so it must drive out backwards. If the forklift is moving, the forklift driver can't tell that the truck is also moving, and the forklift could back out and fall off the truck, injuring or killing the driver.
