#7 What kind of simpleton thinks a mole is dog sized?! They’re actually quite small and have fur like velvet. Shame they mess up the lawn really.

Victor, most people never saw one in natural state/habitat, and have no frame of reference. Moles in cartoons (where most people know them from) are often portrayed larger than they actually are, so the misconception about size is quite common.
