“Fine in the end but it took a few attempts because the yolk kept breaking.” “What do you mean kept breaking?” “Well, I kept throwing them away because I thought breaking the yolk made it poisonous.”

A colleague of me once asked if people have ever been riding dinosaurs or if the dinosaurs went extinct before humans came to be. Me, a former dinosaur kid, now an adult who tries to keep an eye on the latest news about dinosaur finds could not believe my ears. She is around 50 years old and have a masters degree. It made me realize that what I see as common knowledge may not be so. (or she's an idiot...)
