Picard was laughably bad, not even the cameos by the series regulars could save it. The writing itself was utter nonsense, something I might expect out of a middle school effort, not for the legendary Patrick Stewart to perform. What killed it for me was the planet's plant defense tendrils that could reach into space. Utter failure all around.
I was excited for this show, like I am sure a lot of people were. The new characters were awful, especially Raffi.
