Turning a dingy black as coal building back to it's original color amazes people. Like turning a dungeon into a palace. Causes traffic jams and gawker slow downs. Also gets you on the television news.
Have to be extremely careful with the cleaning agent, what cleans one type of material on the building might do permanent damage to other materials.
