In the video, she turns off his video game while he's playing and then instigates a pillow fight. This was her payback.

Maybe she was trying to be playful. The video doesn't show one way or the other. It does show he was angry, committed assault, and could have paralyzed her with that kick-trip. We've read stories about someone being killed from a single fall or one punch and they go to the ground hard. Usually on concrete, but this could have really hurt her. Maybe it did. Hopefully she is far far away from him now.
Guy needs a bigger bully than he is, to come and smash some respect into him.

Best advice for her is to pack her bags and go find a real grown up man, not a knucklehead with the emotional maturity of a 4 year old.
