People still want older stuff because it was built to last or at the very least easily repairable. The problem with today is that everything is disposable and nothing is made well. It doesn't help that retailers from certain nations sell trash to begin with.

There's also a more of a "COOL FACTOR" in the older stuff. Especially audio gear, watches, and cars. And, a lot of that stuff can be self repaired by you.
