Here’s a freaky detail from Who Framed Roger Rabbit. Because the combination of live-action and animation was so ground-breaking at the time, it was sometimes easier to fake having a human in the frame. So, during the chase scene with Benny the Taxi, there are shots where Eddie is actually animated, but only for quick snippets (once you see it, you can’t unsee it though).
