#29. Anti-suicide.

#61. Who was Paul Walker ?

Looked it up, he was an actor.
So he had a cool life and made lots of money.
Didn't save animals, help the poor or invent a new medicine.
So not a hero, just a privileged guy that died in a car that wasn't driven properly.

Corey,

...but he wasn't a bad man and he loved his daughter, and even though he died young, he had very little ego about himself and was genuinely a nice guy. There are many, many, other celebrities more full of themselves who do a lot less, preaching at us right now about the environment and politics on twitter. I'll take Paul Walker over Alyssa Milano and Robert DeNiro any day.

Corey,
Nobody said Paul Walker was a hero. He was an actor.
He wasn't the best or worst actor you'll ever see but he starred in some popular movies.
With all of the terrible stuff happening in the world at the moment, sometimes you just need to turn off the news and watch a silly action/adventure movie to rest your brain for an hour or two.
You're right, actors don't save animals, help the poor or invent a new medicine.
But they do provide immeasurable benefit to our mental health by making us happy for a little while.

Dicie,

no its stupid idolization. just because we enjoy movies doesnt mean that they are an immeasurable benefit to us. i enjoy alcohol and that helps me forget about lifes troubles, doesnt mean that i should overinflate the importance of alcohol and give it a normal place in my life whenever things get bad or boring. it is not necessary in my life except for "wanting", and just because you want something doesnt mean its good for you or even a benefit at all. finding real life hobbies, things that give back to you, are what provide the most benefit. vegging out and turning your brain off isnt a help to anyone.

Aleva, Yes. You can clearly see that some have been moved out (around?) also there are spaces where the tanks have gone for some reason. Servicing? Testing? Who can know.

Nat, Did he even know what a pedantic mouth-breathing twat was?

To all the bitter comments on Paul Walker: aparently you feel it’s your job to judge which hobbies qualify as valuable for everyone? Paul Walker enjoyed acting and also participated in several charities revolving around his love for cars and racing. Maybe that’s not valuable to you, but it’s not your place to decide that for anyone. He WAS regarded as good guy and good role model for many young people. Dying in a car accident is tragic no matter who it was, and acting like it’s no big deal because he wasn’t the world’s biggest humanitarian is just plain callous. Just because he was a successful actor doesn’t mean he was a useless person, as you would imply. You might want to get your bitterness in check. And also make sure you’re practicing what you preach in giving to the poor, saving animals, and inventing new medicines. Or do you only hold others to those standards?

#30 is such a waste of space. There's space for a whole bedroom where those hard to reach spider webs will be created. Just dumb.

#49 What a catch. Bleh.
