#12. You all know that meter is a measuring device, hey ? As in speed-o-meter, or electricity meter. Whereas the distance, one thousand millimetres, is called a metre. Don't believe me ? Look it up.
Happy that you USA people are moving on from measuring things based on an English king's foot (lol) but try and use the right words with metric.
And kilogram is NOT spelt killergram.

Also since the used language in that picture is german, meter is the correct pronounciation for both cases (devices and unit).

You nailed it - almost. That's Germany and in Germany a Meter is the distance, a speed-o-meter would be a Tachometer, an electricity meter a Stromzähler, a water meter a Wasseruhr, a illuminometer a Beleuchtungsmesser and finally a meter would be a Zollstock. I hope this helps.
