“I think if ‘Dredd’ was made 5 years later we would have a franchise. That movie was so well done it should have been a block buster. From the acting to the effects it’s been a yearly watch in my house hold.”

“Meet the Robinsons is probably the most underrated Disney film.”

“The 13th Warrior (1999).
Synopsis, an Arab poet is sent to exile and meets a bunch of Vikings somewhere around the black sea. He joins them on their way back home, and in the fight that they must face in their homeland.
It’s a good story, told in a realistic or quasi-realistic manner, gritty yet epic. The director is John McTiernan, who is also responsible for better recognized movies like Predator and Die Hard.”

“Thirteen. It’s basically like the dark, “real life” version of Mean Girls. A nice girl enters high school, falls in with the wrong crowd, and turns bad. Evan Rachel Wood plays the protagonist (first role I ever saw her in) and Nikki Reed her “bad influence.” It’s an incredibly well-acted, well-shot, and emotional film. Yet very few people seem to know about it, which is a damn shame.”

“Role Models with Paul Rudd and Sean William Scott, one of the funniest movies of the last 20 years that doesn’t get near as much attention as such as it should.”

“Equilibrium, it was only released at a handful off theaters, and wasn’t advertised at all. If it had been, I think it would have done great. 1984 + Matrix vibes, you should see it!”

It WILL make you cry. Superb movie.”

“Brick.
Joseph Gordon-Levitt plays a teenager who’s ex-girlfriend goes missing and he has to push his way into a high school crime ring to find out what happened.”

“True Romance. It’s a perfect, gritty urban fairytale.”

“Margin Call
It follows the key people at an investment bank over a 24-hour period during the hit of the 2008 financial crisis.”
“Ghost Dog (1999) is such a lot of fun: a hitman in the US mafia (played by Forrest Whitaker) lives by the code of the samurai. A contemplative and zen action movie. Imagine John Wick but he’s black, but he grew up in medieval japan.. but uses guns… also he’s got homing pigeons like Mike Tyson… whatever, just watch it.”

“Secondhand Lions. When I ask people if they’ve seen it, most say no but it is, in my opinion, a perfect movie. It’s a blend of comedy, adventure, and drama with a great cast: Michael Caine, Robert Duvall, and Haley Joel Osment, with Kyra Sedgwick as a supporting character.”

Also, "About time" is nicely done, it hit me because i've suffered loss around the time the movie was out.
13th warrior one of my favorite as a teen
