Did you work at missing the whole point of the article? Besides, just like old computer tech and vinyl records, you can be sure that franchise rental places will find a collectors market also. Sad thing is, it will end up in flea markets for outrageous prices, with 50,000 listings of the same thing on Ebay. Personally, I think it's neat. People like to collect things, and Blockbuster was the drive-in theater of it's time.
